Reunion at New Zealand Parliament
Great to catch up with many former ministerial and parliamentary colleagues at a reunion at New Zealand Parliament last week marking the twentieth anniversary of the swearing in of NZ’s Fifth Labour-led Government - the actual date of the swearing in at Government House was Friday 10 December 1999. Many of those colleagues continue to be active in public life, including as mayors, councillors, & district health board members. We have good memories of those nine years in government - yes, there were ups and downs, but the policy legacy was strong across the dimensions of what is now the global sustainable development agenda.
