Yes Vote in End of Life Choice Referendum
I'm supporting a #YesVote in the NZ referendum on the End of Life Choice Act on 17 October. I believe the Act is compassionate in giving a person close to death & experiencing unbearable suffering the right to choose to end their life. To be eligible to make that choice, a person must also be of sound mind and have a significant and ongoing decline in physical capacity. A person's doctor and an independent doctor must agree that the person meets all the eligibility criteria. I am satisfied that the safeguards are sound, and that giving this right to choose in the circumstances set out in the Act is the right thing to do.
