A diverse New Zealand Cabinet is appointed.
On 2 November, the new New Zealand Cabinet was announced. Its composition is: women 40%, Maori 25%, Pasifika 10.7%, Asian descent 5%, LGBTQIA+ 10.7%. Across the whole Executive including also Ministers outside Cabinet and Parliamentary Under-secretaries: women are 46.5%, Maori 28.6%, Pasifika 14.3%, Asian descent 7.1% LGBTQIA+ 14.3%.
