An open letter to Facebook, Google, TikTok and Twitter
I've signed an open letter to Facebook, Google, TikTok and Twitter CEOs calling on them to tackle the abuse of women on their platforms.
38 per cent of women globally have directly experienced online abuse. Better tools are needed to manage safety and report abuse.
The social media giants mentioned above are making commitments to action on online abuse against women at the Gender Equality Forum this week, but effective actions must now follow words.
