ESCAP High-Level Thematic Roundtable: Strengthening Health Responses and Preparedness

In May I was invited to speak at the 78th session of the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). The session took place at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok and online with participants from 62 countries including Heads of State and senior government officials. During the five day event discussions were held on the future of regional co-operation for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
