Welcome packages for Afghan refugees coming to New Zealand

Uniting Canterbury Women was founded after 51 people died from the horrific terror attack on mosques in Christchurch NZ in March 2019.

Through Uniting Canterbury Women, women from across communities work together to celebrate diversity, break down barriers, and make a positive difference in our communities.

Now the organisation has launched an appeal for funding for welcome packs for refugees from Afghanistan arriving in New Zealand. Please consider supporting their appeal; details are here. The funding raised is already over half way to the NZ$11,000 target - let’s take it all the way!
